Wall Decor

I don't actually have many of my photographs on display around the house, but I had the chance to try out a wall decor print from Saal Digital (who also let me trial their fantastic photobooks). The process of ordering is beyond easy, just upload your photo, choose a size and order. I went for a panoramic sized gallery print of a photo taken on my Canon 600d of my two Labradors.

It took less than a week for it to be delivered - firstly I have to commend them on their packaging, there was no way this was going to get damaged in the post, securely fastened to a stiff cardboard backing, inside more cardboard.

Once I saw the image I was amazed at the quality, the blacks are superb, and the matt finish gives a real depth to the image. I didn't go for the mounting option, so at the moment I'm still figuring out how this is going to go on the wall. The quality of the material used to print on is really good. Nice and solid, but not too weighty.
