Absence of Blade

Our studio is based in a building shared with many other clubs. One of these is the fencing club who had asked us if we could provide them with some photographs for them to use as publicity, so on Thursday five of the members came down to the studio for some portrait shots, then we decamped into their practice room for some action shots.

The studio shoot went well, and we were pleased with the results. However, once we moved into their practice room, and all the control of the studio was lost it was a different matter. There was hardly any clear wall space, a door in the middle of nearly every shot, and then the lights started overheating. Despite all of this, a bit of photoshop magic soon got rid of most of the distractions and another session with one of the fencers is planned for the not too distant future.
