Shadows & Light

Another Tuesday, another night in the studio. The newspaper we had used in the last shoot was all still up, so fortunately Ty had the afternoon free to go along and get it clear and set up some gobos ready for the evenings shoot. Now gobos was a new word on me until recently. Basically its just an object placed in front of a light source (our flash) to create shadows. We had an old venetian blind set up and some bit of card with shapes cut out. Our model for this evening was Lucy Jane Evans, who along with her partner is a bit of a fitness fanatic, so theres another shoot in the pipeline which will be done on location in the gym. As the shoot progressed most people enjoyed it, some didn't like the shadows but everyone agreed how good Lucy is as a model.
